Anusara-Inspired Yoga
Anusara-Inspired is a heart-centered style which powerfully blends the Universal Principles of Alignment™ with an uplifting philosophy celebrating the uniqueness of students of all levels of ability and experience.
Gentle Yoga
Breath awareness and postures suitable for all levels including those with chronic conditions or pain and for those with limited mobility. Chairs and props are available for support.
Hot Yoga
Hot Yoga is done in our studio which is heated to an approximate temperature of 88°. The inclusion of a moderate level of heat allows for a deeper sense of relaxation, deeper stretches and promotes the release of toxins. In addition, hot yoga helps increase circulation and promotes the body’s healing processes.
To prepare for this experience dress in light, comfortable clothes, hydrate before and during class and know your physical limitations and exercise within them. Be prepared to work hard, gain mobility, feel great and get sweaty!
Moderate Yoga
Breath awareness and alignment will be emphasized in a class of sequenced asanas promoting strength, flexibility, balance and focus. The instructor will guide students through more challenging poses and offer modifications.
Intermediate Yoga
A warm room and challenging practice for those with an ongoing yoga practice and familiarity with modifications. Arm balances, inversions, backbends and deep twists will be explored through precise sequencing.
Kundalini Yoga
An energizing and peaceful way to start your day! Using sound, breath, simple yoga postures, deep relaxation and meditation, each class is designed to strengthen the physical body, awaken the spirit, and instill a healed state of consciousness. An appropriate challenge for new and experienced students alike.
Yoga Fundamentals
Use of classical hatha yoga poses and breathing techniques, with detailed attention to alignment. Strong use of props to allow students to experience the actions of the pose. All levels, although basic poses will be emphasized.
